In the year 2002, FAO announced that about 90 countries had endorsed the new guidelines for regulating wood
packaging material in international trade (IPPC Guidelines). This standard, named Standard ISPM 15, intends to harmonize the various national regulations and describes phytosanitary measures to reduce the risk of quarantine pests associated with wood packaging material, both new and used, including dunnage, made of coniferous and non- coniferous raw wood, in use in international trade.
List of countries requiring ISPM. 15, update December 15th, 2006. These are just guidelines as any country can make changes without a fair preadvice. All necessary information can be found in internet official websites.
